An Invitation to Old Fashioned Elegance

We have some pretty exciting news for Beekman House guests past, present and future! After nine full seasons of serving as your hosts in the Finger Lakes, Gerry and I are moving on to enjoy the years ahead by spending more time with family. God is good!!!

We have truly enjoyed this adventure as innkeepers, and we cherish the special friendships we’ve made here over the years. The new innkeepers have expressed to us that they intend to continue our tradition of making you part of the family at The 1897 Beekman House. We will be assisting them in the background by sharing our experiences as well as many of my recipes for your favorite Beekman House breakfasts!

The Finger Lakes Wine Region continues to grow as one of the nation’s premier wine producing regions and the 1897 Beekman House Bed and Breakfast is growing too! Your new innkeepers are no strangers to the hospitality industry or wines! They are BOTH sommeliers from the NYC area. I am personally looking forward to seeing the special wine related events coming your way!

It is our pleasure to introduce to you Greg and Lilly Deforest-Campbell as the new owners and innkeepers at the 1897 Beekman House Bed and Breakfast!

Hi there!

We are Lilly and Greg DeForest-Campbell, and we are thrilled to be assuming the ownership and operation of 1897 Beekman House. Chef Chuck and Gerry have set a high standard for service, hospitality, and of course breakfast, so we know we have some awfully big shoes to fill. We intend to maintain the level of excellence you have come to expect from your stay at this lovely bed and breakfast.

So you know a little bit about us, we are two sommeliers and former restaurant managers who met in New York City, though Greg is originally from Maine, and Lilly is from right here in the Finger Lakes. Whenever we would come to visit Lilly’s family for holidays and special occasions, we would always remark on the beauty of the area, the lure of local attractions, from hiking, to skiing, to a day at the lake, and of course, the excellent regional food and wine.

We hope you will join us for a stay at 1897 Beekman House, so we can show you the very best of the Finger Lakes. Let’s make some beautiful memories together.

The 1897 Beekman House Bed and Breakfast is a beautifully restored Victorian with its mix of architectural influences. The house retains its original, wonderful, wide front porch, pocket doors, hardwood floors, high ceilings, stained glass windows, wonderful dark woodwork, and beautiful staircase. We have modern conveniences, with an unforgettable history, a Finger Lakes bed and breakfast located in beautiful upstate New York.

Experience Graciousness and Hospitality

Step into the past, enjoy the present, create memories for tomorrow. For relaxation, choose one of our common areas; lady’s parlor, gentleman’s parlor, sitting room to read, play a game, or just meditate. Perhaps you would rather sit by the fireplace as you sip a glass of wine.

In the morning as you step down the grand staircase, you will be greeted by soft music. You will experience fine cuisine, and impeccable service as you indulge in a gourmet breakfast fit for royalty. You will feel like you have entered a scene from the past where excellent service and gracious hospitality are the norm.
